Term 3 was an exciting term with lots of delicious food and valuable learning experiences.
As part of our multicultural project at RRPS the EAL/D team was honoured to conduct cooking lessons with our beautiful EAL/D students.
On the 19th September 2018 the students had the opportunity to experience food from all around the world with Middle Eastern, Spanish and Afghani food on the menu. We were delighted to have Ms Lozano on board to help with cooking our Spanish dish. We thank her for her time and contribution.
Our students really enjoyed the day not only was it a fun experience but it also assisted the students to build their English language skills and develop effective communication. The students developed a greater understanding of cultural identities and traditions.
We would like to thank all the parents, teachers, support staff involved and most importantly a special thank you to Mrs Rump for making this experience possible. It was definitely a day to remember!
